Whole wheat bread

Preparation

1. Toast your bread slices in a toaster or on a grill until they are golden brown.

2. While the bread is toasting, slice the avocado in half lengthwise, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh into a small bowl.

3. Mash the avocado with a fork and add salt and pepper to taste. You can also add a squeeze of lime juice to brighten up the flavors.

4. Spread the mashed avocado onto one slice of the toasted bread.

5. Layer the tomato slices, onion slices on top of the avocado spread.

6. Slice the sandwich in half and serve immediately.
