Rava Dosa

Ingredients for this Recipe

Fine rava

1/4 cup

Rice flour

1/4 cup

Small onion, chopped

Besan flour

2 tbsp

Preparation

1. In a mixing bowl, combine the rava, rice flour, besan, cumin seeds, black pepper powder, and salt.

2. Add enough water to make a thin batter. The batter should be thinner than regular dosa batter.

3. Add chopped green chili, and onion to the batter. Mix well.

4. Heat a non-stick tawa or a griddle on medium-high heat. Grease it with a little oil using a tissue paper.

5. Pour the batter with a ladle and spread it thinly in a circular motion.

6. Drizzle some oil around the edges of the dosa.

7. Cook until the edges turn golden brown and the dosa turns crisp.

8. Using a spatula, flip the dosa and cook for a few more seconds until the other side is cooked through.

9. Serve hot with coconut chutney or sambar.
