Preparation
1. Grind the oats in a blender to a fine powder.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground oats, whole wheat flour, and salt to taste.
3. Gradually add water and knead to form a smooth dough.
4. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
5. Divide the dough into equal-sized balls.
6. Roll each ball into a circle using a rolling pin and some flour to prevent sticking.
7. Heat a non-stick tawa or a non-stick pan over medium heat.
8. Place the rolled-out roti on the tawa and cook for about 30 seconds on one side until small bubbles appear.
9. Flip the roti and cook for another 30 seconds on the other side.
10. Apply a little oil on both sides and cook for a few more seconds until the roti is lightly browned and cooked through.
11. Repeat the process with the remaining dough balls.
12. Serve hot with your favorite curry or chutney.
