Chole Masala

Preparation
1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
2. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
3. Add grated ginger and minced garlic. Saute for a few seconds until the raw smell goes away.
4. Add chopped onion and saute until translucent.
5. Add chopped tomato and cook until it becomes soft.
6. Add boiled chickpeas, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
7. Cover the pan and cook for 10-12 minutes on low heat or until the chole is heated through.
8. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or rice.
