Soaked rice

Preparation
1. Rinse rice and dal, and cook with 2 cups of water until soft.
2. In a separate pan, heat ghee/oil and add mustard seeds. When they splutter, add onion, tomato, and green chili.
3. Add mixed vegetables and spices. Cook until vegetables are soft.
4. Mix the cooked rice and dal with the vegetable mixture.
5. Add water to adjust consistency and cook on low heat for a few minutes.
6. Serve hot.
