Aloo Methi Sabzi - Low Cal

Makes 1 serving Ingredients: 50 grams potatoes, peeled and cubed 100 grams fresh methi leaves (fenugreek leaves), chopped 20 grams onion, finely chopped 1/2 tsp cumin seeds 1/2 tsp coriander powder 1/4 tsp turmeric powder 1/4 tsp red chili powder Salt to taste 1 tbsp oil 1/4 cup water

Ingredients for this Recipe

Potatoes , peeled and cubed

Fresh methi leaves, chopped

Onion, finely chopped

20 gm

Cumin seeds

5 gm

Coriander seed powder

5 gm

Red chilli powder

5 gm

Turmeric powder

2 gm

Salt to taste

Preparation

1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

2. Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.

3. Add cubed potatoes, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.

4. Add chopped methi leaves and mix well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.

5. Add water, cover the pan and cook for 8-10 minutes or until the potatoes are cooked through and the water has evaporated.

6. Once the vegetables are cooked, remove the lid and cook for another 2-3 minutes or until the aloo methi sabzi is dry and coated with the spices.

7. Serve hot with roti or rice.
