Sabudana Khichdi - No Potato

Ingredients for this Recipe

Sabudana

80 gm

Ghee

1 tsp

Cumin seeds

3 gm

Peanuts

2 tbsp

Green chilli paste

Salt to taste

Lemon juice

Coriander leaves

1 tbsp

Preparation

1. Rinse the sabudana in water and soak it for 4-5 hours or overnight.

2. Heat ghee in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds to the oil and let them splutter.

3. Add the peanuts to the pan and sauté for 2-3 minutes or until they are roasted and golden brown.

4. Add green chili paste, sugar, and salt to taste. Mix well and cook for another 1-2 minutes.

5. Drain the water from the soaked sabudana and add it to the pan.

6. Mix well and cook for 5-7 minutes or until the sabudana pearls turn translucent and soft.

7. Once done, garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with lemon wedges.
