Ingredients for this Recipe

Poha (Flattened Rice)

1/2 cup

Small onion, chopped

Small potato, chopped

Preparation

1. Rinse the Poha in a colander under running water. Drain the water and keep the Poha aside.

2. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Let them splutter.

3. Add chopped onion, green chili, and potato. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent and the potato becomes slightly soft.

4. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for a minute.

5. Add the rinsed Poha to the pan. Mix well with the masala.

6. Cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

7. Garnish with coriander leaves and lemon wedges. Serve hot.
